DROP-IN CARE
Boston’s Bridge to Excellence continues to expand its offerings to enhance support for the children and families in the communities that they serve. Based on feedback from families and community partners, BBTE is now offering Drop-In Care for families starting in FY’24 School Year.
WHEN TO UTILIZE DROP-IN CARE:
- Running late to pick up your child at dismissal time
- Have an appointment you need to be at and need someone to watch your child for a few hours.
- Transportation problems and need someone to watch your child until you can get someone to pick up your child
HOW TO GUARANTEE A SPACE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR CHILD WHEN NEEDED:
To ensure BBTE is able to support drop-in care for your child/ren, please be sure to pre-register your child/ren if you think there may be a time you will need support. Filling out the enrollment packet, paying a registration fee, and ensuring BBTE has all the proper documentation for your child will allow BBTE to take your child unexpectedly at any time.
If BBTE does not have the enrollment packet, registration fee, and required paperwork in advance, they cannot accept your child, even in an emergency.
